SHPEtinas
Here at SHPE we value the advancement of Latinas in STEM. SHPEtinas is aimed at providing an environment where Latinas can grow and network with each other. Latinas and allies are welcome to help promote the advancement and recognition of Latinas in STEM.
Social Events
The SHPEtinas holds social events throughout the semester that try and help members get to know one another. We strongly encourage you to come out and have a good time with us!
Professional Development
The SHPEtinas are dedicated to making sure that there is a safe and encouraging environment for other STEM women. There is always someone to talk to that can help with any questions you may have for that step up in your professional career.
Intramurals
We highly encourage the participation of SHPEtinas in our intramurals. It is a good place to meet new people and have a lot of fun. We sign up for co-ed softball, volleyball, soccer, football, and basketball.
